Facilities

Not only are we lucky enough to be nestled in the beautiful Cotswold countryside, but we also have a number of fantastic facilities which our children are able to enjoy as part of their enriched curriculum. 

Our Library 

In October 2020, as a school, we were delighted to open our new library. We are incredibly grateful to the local community who raised over £3,000 in donations to pay for new books. Some of the main donors included Cotswold Radio, The Mother’s Union, The Sly Trust, The Cotswold Fosseway Lions and The Church of St Peter and St Paul. Our children have regular slots of library time as part of their reading curriculum and are encouraged to borrow up to three books at a time to take home and enjoy. We know that reading and a love of books is the cornerstone to a good education and that a well-stocked library is an important part of teaching and promoting that love of reading.

Our School House

The School House was opened March 2018 and is a newly-renovated large space which hosts our library and is used regularly by the school for small-teaching activities; music lessons, run by peripatetic teachers, as well as providing a fabulous facility for our Wrap Around Care sessions. This space is available for the community to use for clubs and group sessions which encourage children’s development, i.e. toddler groups. Our Swimming Pool

We are incredibly lucky to have a pool on our school site which the children are able to use as part of their PE lessons during the second half of the summer term. It is a heated outdoor learner pool which is ideal for developing children's confidence and basic swimming skills before they take part in swimming lessons at the local leisure centre in years 5 and 6. The pool is open to the wider community outside of school hours and in the holidays. 

Our Garden

Situated on our school site is our wonderful garden which is maintained and cared for by the staff and other members of the local community, along with the help of some of our green-fingered children! This is a fantastic outdoor space which is used to bring learning alive outside through exploration and discovery.
