SIAMS

SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican & Methodist Schools)

SIAMS is an inspection for Anglican and Methodist schools and is additional to the OFSTED inspection. We are delighted that we have been judged to be good in each of the 3 main areas. We are especially delighted that the inspectors have praised the following qualities that we believe in so strongly:

School leaders have a clear commitment to the development of the school’s vision to ensure every child flourishes. This is having a positive impact on well-being and academic progress.

Collective worship has a high status within the life of the school. Its focus on Christian values promotes thoughtful and considerate behaviour.

Pupils’ mental health and personal well-being are supported well.

The support of local clergy enhances the school as a Christian community.

Religious education (RE) makes an effective contribution to the Christian character of the school and to pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
